Objectives of Prakriti Suraksha Abhiyan
Our campaign focuses on protecting nature, conserving natural resources, and inspiring communities to adopt sustainable environmental practices.
1. Reforestation and Afforestation
A key focus of the campaign is to expand green cover through reforestation and afforestation efforts. By planting trees in deforested areas and developing new green spaces, the campaign aims to restore ecosystems, enhance air quality, and combat the effects of climate change.
2. Waste Management and Recycling
The campaign will advocate for responsible waste management practices, including waste segregation, recycling, and composting. Educational workshops will help communities manage waste efficiently, reduce landfill waste, and minimise environmental pollution.
3. Water Conservation
Prakriti Suraksha Abhiyan will work towards conserving water resources by promoting rainwater harvesting, water recycling, and the restoration of water bodies. These efforts will help address water scarcity and ensure a sustainable supply of clean water.
4. Environmental Awareness and Education
Raising awareness about environmental issues is crucial for inspiring change. The campaign will conduct awareness drives, educational programmes, and community engagement activities to promote environmental conservation and sustainable living.
